The training you’ll receive as a Boomers Leading Change in Health volunteer will not only help you help others across our community, it will make a meaningful difference in YOUR life, too. And besides your volunteer work, we’ll provide you with other opportunities to get together with your fellow Boomers volunteers—to learn, exchange stories and ideas, and, of course, socialize.
Boomers Leading Change in Health is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC). Neither BLCiH nor CNDC discriminates against applicants or employees based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, creed, religion, gender, age, disability, veteran status, citizenship, marital status, gender expression, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protectedby state or federal law. This policy applies to all employees, including managers, supervisors, co-workers, and non-employees, such as customers, clients, vendors, consultants, volunteers, AmeriCorps Encore Members, etc.
Boomers Leading Change in Health is built on a foundation of strategic alliances and partnerships—and the more the merrier. We welcome the opportunity to work with other like-minded organizations, as well as businesses of all sizes.
Boomers Leading Change in Health is fortunate to have received more than $1.6 million in generous financial support from our benefactors. But, like most non-profit organizations, we are always seeking additional funding—not only from the philanthropic and government sectors, but from the corporate world, as well.
Of course, you don’t have to attend a Boomers Leading Change in Health event to stay informed—you can subscribe to The Boom Box, our e-newsletter and blog, to learn about the latest news that affects you and your family.
While volunteerism lies at the heart of what we do, Boomers Leading Change in Health is also about serving as a resource to the community when it comes to the issues of health and healthcare. With that in mind, we periodically sponsor gatherings throughout the community that help provide individuals and families with important information that makes a difference in their lives.
